Witmar trailer configurator: step 1 — choose your starting point

Start with the cargo or your trailer requirements, then compare real Witmar listings. This guide explains both paths and the optional towing-vehicle check.

Witmar trailer configurator: step 1 — choose your starting point

Two paths into the same range

The Witmar configurator starts either with your load or with your trailer requirements. Its results link to actual listings. A visual concept does not create a new product or an invented quotation.

Start with a known load

Use the cargo path for a motorcycle, crate, pallet or machine whose dimensions and weight you know. Enter one item's dimensions, its weight and the number of identical units. The layout stays in one layer and includes the chosen gaps and edge clearance. Compare general-purpose trailers or car transporters as appropriate.

Set your own requirements

The second path lets you specify minimum deck dimensions and payload, body type, axle count and a GVW ceiling. For box trailers, loading-space height matters as well. Door openings still need confirmation. Accessories shown on the concept are not a promise that every product includes them.

Add the towing vehicle

The third form section describes the car you own. Its silhouette is schematic. Enter capacity limits from the vehicle and towbar documents rather than calculating them from engine power or selecting an imaginary car listing.

Read the result correctly

Separate matching entered dimensions and weight from specifications that need checking. Open the product page to review its equipment, photographs and availability. Missing values remain unknown. Continue through the next steps to prepare accurate figures and send Witmar a useful summary.
